Based in Bala, our small but mighty product team brings together creative culinary talent and precise food science, taking recipes from our development kitchen all the way to nationwide supermarket shelves. What truly drives us isn't just scaling up recipes for major retailers; it’s our shared passion, endless tasting sessions, and total dedication to crafting treats that people love. My passion for food started in the kitchen, blending the artistry of culinary arts and pastry with a deep curiosity for the science behind what makes great food work. That journey took me from hands-on work as a chef and baker in New Zealand to pursuing Master's in food production management, always driven by a simple goal: understanding how to deliver uncompromised quality and taste, even on a commercial scale. Stepping into product development meant bridging the gap between creative culinary ideas and precise food tech. It took endless kitchen trials, late evenings perfecting formulations, learning from every challenge, and mastering the fine balance of texture, flavor, and shelf life to turn concept recipes into products ready for major supermarket shelves. Joining The Cake Crew and working alongside such a dedicated, talented team has been one of the defining moments of my career. Being nominated for Product Team of the Year is more than just a professional milestone—it’s a reminder of how far passion, relentless curiosity, and teamwork can take you, and I couldn't be prouder to share this journey with the people who make it happen every day.
