About Gabrielle

I am a Training Manager with a passion for developing people and supporting organisations operating in hazardous and high-risk industries. At ExVeritas, I oversee training delivery across a growing international network of CompEx and specialist hazardous area training centres. My work combines operational management, customer engagement, centre support, and business development, ensuring training remains practical, relevant, and aligned with industry needs. Whether I'm helping a new candidate begin their hazardous area journey or supporting the development of international training partnerships, I enjoy building relationships, sharing knowledge, and helping others succeed. My goal is simple: to make specialist training accessible, engaging, and valuable for every learner.

  • My proudest achievement has been helping to grow ExVeritas' global training network by establishing and supporting new training centres across multiple countries. This has involved working closely with diverse teams, partners, and stakeholders to maintain consistent standards while adapting to local needs and cultures.
  • One of the most rewarding aspects has been building strong relationships with colleagues around the world and seeing these centres develop into successful, trusted providers of hazardous area training. Being part of a team that has expanded ExVeritas' global reach while maintaining the quality and reputation of our training is something I am incredibly proud of.

About Gabrielle's team

While I am proud of what I have achieved during my time at ExVeritas, none of it would have been possible without the incredible team around me in Wrexham. Over the past five years, I have been fortunate to work alongside a dedicated, knowledgeable, and supportive group of colleagues who have all played a part in my journey. From day-to-day challenges and business growth to the expansion of our global training network, every success has been built on teamwork, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence. The Wrexham team has consistently gone above and beyond, supporting one another, sharing expertise, and embracing new opportunities as ExVeritas has grown. Their hard work, professionalism, and willingness to help have not only contributed to the success of the business but have also helped me develop both personally and professionally. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been being part of a team that genuinely cares about its people, its customers, and the quality of what we deliver. As ExVeritas continues to grow internationally, I remain grateful for the support, encouragement, and friendships that have come from working with such an exceptional team. The achievements we celebrate today are not individual accomplishments; they are the result of a team effort, and I am proud to be part of the ExVeritas family in Wrexham.

The journey

My career path hasn't been a straight line, but every step has shaped who I am today. After leaving school, I began my working life in childcare, developing skills that would stay with me throughout my career: patience, communication, organisation, and a genuine passion for helping people grow and succeed. I later moved into banking, where I spent six years building experience in customer service, relationship management, and problem-solving. It was a role that taught me professionalism, resilience, and the importance of putting customers first. Like many people, I assumed I had found a long-term career path, so being made redundant came as a shock and brought a period of uncertainty about what would come next. However, what felt like a setback at the time turned out to be the opportunity that changed everything. Receiving the email offering me a position at ExVeritas was a defining moment. It gave me a fresh start and the chance to step into an industry I knew very little about but quickly grew to love. What began as a new job soon became a career filled with opportunities, challenges, personal growth, and achievements I could never have imagined. Over the past five years, I have progressed from learning the fundamentals of the business to becoming Training Manager, supporting the development of ExVeritas' global training network and working with centres and partners across multiple countries. One of my proudest achievements has been helping grow the ExVeritas brand internationally, establishing strong relationships with teams around the world and contributing to the expansion of our training centre network. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of my colleagues, particularly the team in Wrexham, who have encouraged, challenged, and supported me every step of the way. Looking back, being made redundant felt like the end of a chapter. In reality, it was the beginning of the best career move I could have made.
