Richard Adam

I am a sound & lighting engineer for Theatr Clwyd with previous experience as a Music Technology Lecturer at North Shropshire College. I hold a Master’s degree in Music Production from Staffordshire Universty. I started out as a roadie & stage technician for a local band, which grew into working for a local promoter. Eventually the band were signed to a record label and I went on tour with them, and ran their stage & roadie crew. Following my undergraduate degree, I took on an apprenticeship at The Centre, offered by Fusion Arts Oswestry, where I gained hands-on experience in their professional studio. I eventually became the Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations of the commercial recording facility for three years. I later served as the Chairman of Fusion Arts Oswestry, a Community Interest Company dedicated to supporting youth and the local community through arts and event-based projects, which has since closed. My recording experience spans various genres, including Acoustic Singer-Soiters, Rock, Blues, Death Metal, Dance, Rap, Space Rock, and Trance. Additionally, I have worked extensively as a roadie, stage technician, sound technician, stage manager, and in event management throughout my career.
